“El Señor es mi Pastor” – Tema Baby Shower | The Lord is My Shepherd Themed Baby Shower

¿Alguna vez te has sentado a leerlo?

nada me faltará[a].
En lugares de verdes pastos me hace descansar;
junto a aguas de reposo me conduce.
El restaura[b] mi alma;

no temeré mal[e] alguno, porque tú estás conmigo;
tu vara y tu cayado me infunden aliento[f].
Tú preparas mesa delante de mí en presencia de mis enemigos;
has ungido[g] mi cabeza con aceite;

This is definitely one of those themes that I truly love. Those who take us a step forward and make us think of those important things on our lives and make us look up, to God. How many times have we listened to Psalms 23? About the shepherd that takes care of us, the one that lay us down to green pastures? Have you read it? This is the text so you can read it and understand the importance of showing and teaching our kids, even before birth, that they Do have a shepherd, someone who takes care of them and love them above all. He who will love them more that anything or anyone and guide them and look out for us even when we are lost. Because we are sheep of his pasture. God is faithful and we know it.

Thanks to the parents of Ian for letting us be part of this Baby Shower with meaning! 🙂

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
    He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.
